This is just my opinion. You may not agree with me or you may love the other tokusatsu series more than Sentai. But I still post this article, hahaha.
Various Concept, Properties and Choreography
There have been 40 Super Sentai series with various kind of concept. The earlier series from Goranger to Flashman may only talked about army, technology and alien. But the later series have various concept. Furthermore, depending to the various concept, every Sentai series have different weapon, different design and different choreography. So, the variation of the concept looks more outstanding.
Well, this is just my opinion. There may not be a hero with various series like Sentai, so we couldn't see their variation. But what I consider in this part is the properties. I found many tokusatsu series have bad choreography, some of them wear a huge armor, but the heroes seem to have much difficult movement, e.g. Gransazer.
Furthermore, I found some tokusatsu hero using heaviness weapon or morpher. Such as Kamen Rider and Ryukendo, I don't like they waste so much time for transforming and charging their weapon for final strike.
Sentai Characters are More Outstanding
Sentai creates many charming characters, or maybe Sentai is more capable to choose an actor to draw the character.
Once again, this is my personal opinion, because I think many characters from the other tokusatsu series are overacting, or they actually have bad acting. Some of heroes are too funky, too much speech, or acting cute for laugh, but actually not cute. And some of the heroines seem too weak, or too act cute.
Not only the heroes or heroines, but I also consider about their allies. I found that some series create many allies with really overacting performance just for laugh, but actually I think they are disgusting.
However, Sentai have also ever created many annoying characters. However, Sentai is a group, consists of 3 to 5 people. So, different characters may make a good complement for some annoying character in a group. So, even there are some overacting character, the other may subtract the exaggeration.
Sentai Villains are Logical
I found some tokusatsu series has too powerful villains, but actually they are not logical. E.g. Justiriser, the villains are really powerful for teleporting. Everytime the heroes hit them using final strike, they would do teleporting immediately. However, that actually doesn't give any surprise, only disappointment.
The other example, Tomica Hero Rescue Force, they are too powerful, but too magical. I found in some episodes, the villains cause disease without get close to the area, but use some methods that I can't explain it clearly, neither magic nor fooling trick.
In this case, Sentai would be better. Another reason I love Sentai's villains is they also have their plot, talking about the reason they attack the earth, and the bitter life behind the evil forces.
That's all.
