Video Editors' Choice: Favorite Super Sentai Heroine

Many video editors upload a slideshow on social media to tell people about who are their favourite Super Sentai heroine. What a pity, there are only a few slideshows for male. Actually, I have seen many such as videos like that before, but many of them have been removed. However, I've still gathered 16 videos or slideshow from youtube, dailymotion, youku etc. So, today I'm gonna post this special survey for the ranking of most Favourite Super Sentai Heroine, chosen by Video Editors. 

Warning: This post is posted at July 20th, 2016. In the fact, the videos are made in different years, that means some newer heroines may not be nominated. However, I think if the Sentai big fan editors may make another new video. If they don't, it might mean they don't like newer heroines, or they might have stopped watching Sentai. So my final decision, I gather them all at once, and I think it's fair.

The ranking is concluded from the percentage of the position the fans placed them, with the total appearance in TOP 10 from every lists, and I got the ranking like that:

10th: Eri (Gosei Pink)

Unexpectedly, I hear that Eri is a low-rated character, and according to my prediction, Eri will appear rarely. However, I love her, and I'm wrong. Eri appears in 6 top 10 lists, and she gets TOP 3 for 3 times. Her percentage is 21,8 %.

9th: Kotoha (Shiken Yellow)

Another low-rated heroine in rumor. However, Kotoha appears only in 5 top 10 lists, but she got the first place for twice. I personally love her too, so I'm surprised about her rating before. Her percentage is 22,5 %. 

8th: Moune (Gosei Yellow)

Moune appears in TOP 10 list rarely, only 5 lists from the total videos I can find. But her fans give her really high points, her position is about 2 to 4. That's the reason for her to kick out her partner, Eri. Her percentage is 23,1%.

7th: Nanami (Hurricane Blue), Sakura (Bouken Pink)

The two have a really hard fight for those lists. Both Nanami and Sakura appear 7 times in TOP 10 list. The highest point they got are also too close, Nanami got TOP 3 twice, her average position is between 5 to 7. However, Sakura got champion for once and runner-up for once, her average position is between 5 to 10. Their percentage are 23,7 %.

6th: Saki (Go-on Yellow)

No doubt, it also accords to my prediction. Her position is about 2 to 7. Her percentage is 29,3 %.

5th: Mako (Shinken Pink)

Another TOP heroine of Sentai. Mako appears in 8 lists, and her position is about 4 to 8. She also got champion for once and runner-up for once. Her percentage is 30,6 %.

4th: Jasmine (Deka Yellow)

Introducing, your beloved heroine, Jasmine. Everyone really loves her, even her another character, Yuko (Kyoryu Cyan) got into TOP 10 list for once. However, I found that her position is not really high for all time, it's about 3 to 8, and she just got champion for once. However, she has the most appearance among Sentai heroines, total 11 times. Her percentage is 32,8 %.

3rd: Miyu (Go-on Silver)

Another HOT Babe in Super Sentai. But it might be surprised, Miyu's appearance is less than Jasmine. However, Miyu got really high points from her fans, Her position is about 1 to 3, WOW!!! Her percentage is 41,2%.

2nd: Amy (Kyoryu Pink)

She might say WOW!!! seeing that result. Amy is another sexy and beautiful babe of Sentai. She appears in 9 lists, but her position is about 1 to 5. Yeah, she got champion for once. Her percentage is 43,7 %.

1st: Luka (Gokai Yellow), Ahim (Gokai Pink)

Truly, this is the result. The big battle between both Gokai girls begin. The two heroines from the same series appear in 3 different lists, and 7 same lists. Each of them got champion for 3 times. Fortunately, both of them got the same percentage, it's 44,3 %. And I'm really surprised to see the result that the blockbuster series got the 2 highest rated heroines. No wonder Gokaiger is really popular.

Unexpected Eliminated Heroines

Haruna (Pink Turbo), another HOT Babe got champion for twice. But in the fact, she just appears in those 2 lists. Her percentage is 12 %.

Mei (Ptera Ranger), appears in 4 lists only, but her position is really high, champion, runner-up, 3rd and 5th each for once. Her percentage is a little lower than Eri, Mei gets 20,6 %, in the TOP 11.

And I think we should give Kaoru (Shinken Red) an applause. As an extra heroine, Kaoru appears only 6 episodes in Shinkenger, but she appears in 4 of TOP 10 lists, and got runner-up for once. Another is 9th for twice and 4th for once. Her percentage is 11%.

A fact behind the list

Just like what I said before, the videos are made in different years, and there are only 2 lists are made in 2016. It means most of those lists haven't nominated the heroines from Zyuohger yet. However, one of the lists is mine, hahaha, and I nominate Zyuohger. Then, I conclude Sela (Zyuoh Shark) at TOP 5. The reason is she is serious, but also makes fun. Furthermore, she is beautiful.

How Did The 6th Heroes Refuse to Join the Team?

Burai: "I'm going to die very soon."

Tommy: "I don't refuse the invitation, but Zordan doesn't always call me immediately while a battle begin."

Trent: "So, Dr. Oliver. That's why you always gives me an excuse to stop me joining the team, right"?

Tommy: "No, Trent. That's because Abare Killer only has less scenes in Abaranger".

Naoto: "They are not match to me."

Eric: "Me too."

Naoto: "Hey, you copy me"!!!

Mikoto: "I'm going to kill the others. How can I join that stupid team"?

Misao: "I don't deserve it. I kill the Zyuman, and I also almost kill the rangers." 

Merrick: "Me too."

Tsukumaro: "Hey, Merrick. Do you know you have copied my plot."

Shurikenger: "I'm a free man."

Cam: "No, I don't. I always join the team. But I have to take care my computer too".

Genta: "I'm a sushi seller, I don't live in a Dojo. But I always join the team when they call me."

Antonio: "Since they receive me, I always join the team."

Gai: "I try hard to make Marvelous-San to accept me as one of the team."

Kinji: "Yeah, me too. I try hard to become the student of Igasaki."

China Super Hero, Super Inframan

Super Inframan is a super hero movie, created by Shaw Brother Studio from Hongkong in 1975. Because it was created in Chinese Hongkong, he also has a chinese name, 中国超人 (China Superman). The character of Super Inframan is one of a researcher from space institute, Ryama (雷马).  The actor is a Hongkong actor, Danny Lee (李修贤).

Inframan fights against Glacier Devil (冰河魔王). Glacier Devil is a population of monster living in the earth since ice age. But later, they were buried in the deep of earth over 2 million years. One day, one of an extinct in some place is activated. The professor from the space institute, Prof. Law (刘英德), found that was because of the Glacier Devil. The devil comes to alive and rises to the surface in order to destroy the humans and rules the world. Finally, Prof. Law releases the super hero technology that he had created over 10 years. He chooses Ryama as the soldier according to his brave, intelligent and skillful.

Because of the space institute intervention to their plan, the Glacier Devil sets the institute as the first target to be destroyed. The queen of Glacier Devil has captured one of the researcher, Zhu Ming (祝明). The queen controls his mind and orders him to steal the design drawing of Inframan. Finally, she found the most powerful weapon of Inframan, the solar infra (太阳甲), is a solar weapon, changes it energy to laser and kills his enemy.

However, one by one of her monsters is killed by Inframan, the queen orders to kidnap Prof. Law to create another super hero for her. In the final battle to the base of Glacier Devil, Prof. Law and his daughter Meimei (刘美美) were captured. The queen also creates a stream to cover the sky from sun radiation, in order to stop the Solar Infra. But unfortunately, the design drawing she got before hasn't had a design of another new weapon, the lightning fist (闪电拳). Finally, Inframan kills her using the lightning fist.

According to the information from wikipedia, Super Inframan was based on Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider series from Tokusatsu has become popular since it was aired in Taiwan, Hongkong, Korea and many countries in Asia. Therefore, from those 2 pictures below we should see that Super Inframan design is as similar as Kamen Rider.

However, in my review, Inframan is not only Kamen Rider, but also as similar as Ultraman. See, infra and ultra are both opposite meaning. And their attacking pose are also similar:

Inframan attacks using infra red (I think).

Ultraman attacks using ultra lightning (I think).

Let's see the other skills from Super Inframan:

converting solar energy to lightning, small but strong

so, I don't think he can attack at night 

scud feet (追魂腿)

destroy the enemy in just one kick

died blade (死光刀)

lightning blades, break anything in just one attack

10,000 watt of electric energy. Even the hardest metal in the world

is not his match.
